About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and lead risk operations. The Risk Operations Lead will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our Risk Operations team and the Fraud Engineers who are responsible for developing and maintaining fraud prevention tools. This position requires someone with a deep understanding of the payments industry, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact between the Risk Operations team and the Fraud Engineering team, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  2. Knowledge Transfer: Ensure that the Risk Operations team is well-informed about the latest fraud prevention tools and strategies developed by the Fraud Engineers.
  3. Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop to gather insights from the Risk Operations team regarding the effectiveness and usability of fraud prevention tools, and communicate this feedback to the Fraud Engineers for continuous improvement.
  4. Training: Provide training and support to the Risk Operations team members on using new tools and processes introduced by the Fraud Engineers.
  5. Data Analysis: Utilize your experience in the payments space to analyze transaction data, identify potential fraud patterns, and provide insights to both teams for proactive risk management.
  6. Process Optimization: Collaborate with both teams to identify opportunities for streamlining risk operations processes and enhancing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment processing and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention tools and technologies.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
